Shipping & Delivery Policy

 

1. Introduction

   1.1. This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to any physical products purchased directly from KJ Folk Music (“we”, “our”, “us”).

   1.2. For bookings of services (e.g. musicians, ceilidhs, performances), this policy does not apply. Please see our Terms & Conditions instead.

 

2. Processing Times

   2.1. Orders are normally processed within 2–5 working days.

   2.2. During busy periods (e.g. holidays, tours, festivals), processing times may be slightly longer.

   2.3. We will notify you if there are any unexpected delays.

 

3. Delivery Methods

   3.1. We use trusted courier and postal services for all deliveries.

   3.2. Standard delivery within the UK is usually 3–7 working days.

   3.3. Express delivery may be available at an additional cost.

   3.4. International delivery is available on selected items and delivery times vary depending on destination.

 

4. Delivery Costs

   4.1. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and destination.

   4.2. Free UK delivery may be offered on certain promotional items or order values.

 

5. Tracking & Confirmation

   5.1. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details (where available).

   5.2. If tracking is not available, we will provide an estimated delivery window.

 

6. Delivery Issues

   6.2. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal strikes, customs checks, or other factors beyond our control.

   6.3. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

 

7. Returns & Exchanges

   7.1. If an item arrives faulty or damaged, please notify us within 14 days for a replacement or refund.

   7.2. For non-faulty items, returns are accepted within 14 days provided the item is unused and in its original packaging.

   7.3. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

   7.4. Customised or personalised items (including music services) are non-refundable.
