Availability:

Tuesday 2pm, Wednesday 11am & 2pm, Thursday 11am & 2pm

Timings can usually be flexible upon request, e.g a 2:30pm start.

Scotland from the Armchair

A warm, immersive Scottish experience with familiar songs, traditional tunes, stories.. highland bagpipes, and the accordion. Kathryn teach optional seated ceilidh-style movements including clapping and hand-jive style movements. Designed to encourage gentle movement, singing along, smiles, and shared memories.


England from the Armchair

Traditional English songs, folk tunes, and stories, with simple, inclusive activities adapted for limited mobility, with KJ on the accordion. There is plenty of opportunities for joining in, at whatever level feels comfortable. Kathryn brings bells and hankies for residents to join in with, inspired by morris dancing and dances adapted for seated participation.


Ireland from the Armchair

Well-loved Irish songs and tunes, foot-stomping rhythms, and relaxed audience participation. A joyful, welcoming experience that encourages connection, participation, and lifts the room.  KJ plays lots of jigs and reels on the accordion and teaches some Irish ceilidh dancing for residents to join in with. This workshop also comes with highland bagpipes to show similarities between Scottish and Irish traditional music and how many Irish tunes are popular on the highland bagpipes.

Our workshops cost £150 each and last 1 hour.

Kathryn regularly perfroms across Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Northampton, and Norfolk.
