KJ Folk Music – Cancellation Policy

 

1. Grace Period

   1.1. When booking online and paying by card, your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. However, by confirming your booking, you agree that KJ Folk Music begins work immediately by securing musicians and blocking out your date. This constitutes a customised service under UK law, and by booking, you waive your right to the standard 14-day cooling-off period.

   1.2. You have 48 hours from the time of booking to cancel and receive a full refund, provided the event is more than two months away.

   1.3. Bookings made within two months of the event are classed as short-notice and are non-refundable from the point of booking.

 

2. Standard Cancellations

   2.1. More than 2 months before the event: 50% refund.

   2.2. Within 2 months of the event date: No refund.

 

3. Short-Notice Bookings

   3.1. Bookings made less than 2 months before the event are non-refundable once confirmed.

 

4. Exceptions

   4.1. If musicians have already incurred non-refundable costs specifically for your event (such as travel or accommodation), these amounts will be deducted from any refund due.

 

5. Postponements

   5.1. We will always try to accommodate a new date if you need to postpone.

   5.2. If your new date is unavailable, we may offer an alternative lineup from our trusted team.

   5.3. If no suitable new date can be agreed, the original cancellation policy applies.
