How Does Payment Work?

How Booking Works

When you book your ceilidh and choose “Pay via Invoice” at checkout, your date is reserved immediately.

You will receive an invoice for the full booking amount.

We understand that booking events involves lots of moving parts, so you have 48 hours to cancel for a full refund if you change your mind.

After the 48-hour cooling-off period, the £200 deposit becomes contractually payable and the date remains reserved exclusively for you.

You then have up to 14 days to pay the £200 deposit, giving you time to coordinate budgets. We pride ourselves on offering maximum flexibility and complete peace of mind when booking with KJ Ceilidhs.

If the deposit is not received within 14 days, we reserve the right to re-release your date.

The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before your event.

 

Flexible Planning

You don’t need to have everything decided now.

Timings, details, and upgrades (DJ, ceremony music, additional musicians, etc.) can be added or adjusted up to 2 weeks before your event.

We keep things flexible so you can shape your night as plans evolve.

After reserving your date, we will send out a questionnaire to collect some more key details to ensure everything is perfect on the night!

You’re welcome to pay in full by card at checkout if you’d rather have everything sorted in one step. Our 48-hour cooling-off period still applies.
