More about Kathryn...

Kathryn is dynamic, creative and innovative musician with her roots firmly set in the folk music genre, based in the Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire area.

With over 15 years experience, and appearances at a variety of prestigious events, you will often find Kathryn playing the great highland bagpipes. Known locally as The Fenland Piper, she has appeared on the BBC news and radio multiple times.

Kathryn loves to share her talent with the community, offering private bagpipe lessons. She has also played regular recitals in her front garden for the residents of Whittlesey during the Covid-19 Lockdowns in 2020. It is her goal to come up with some more ways to engage the local community in the upcoming future.
